Research: Drivers and impacts of water quality impairment in Western Lake Erie Basin. Exploratory data techniques and trend analysis were employed to quantify the changes in water quality parameters in relation to temporal and spatial changes in climate, land use and land management, and hydrologic response of the basin. Soluble phosphorus transport within the soil profile was simulated using SWAT and MIKE-SHE models. Long-term effects of agricultural management practices on soluble phosphorus transport were investigated through scenario testing and statistical methods. Read more here

Degree: Master of Science (MSc) | Biological & Agricultural Engineering | 2014 – 2015
Research: Prediction of ephemeral gullies using topographic index models. Classification statistics were used to assess the accuracy of topographic index models at prediction of field-observed ephemeral gullies. Topographic indices and classification statistics were implemented in ArcGIS model builder and python scripts, and tested on watersheds within Central Kansas. Accuracy of the topographic index models varied depending on the inherent parameters that defined a specific topographic index model. Read more here

Degree: Bachelor of Science (BSc) | Agricultural Engineering | 2008 – 2012
Research: Production of particleboards using corn/maize cob waste. A completely randomized experiment was designed to explore the effect of particle size and adhesive content on physical and mechanical properties of maize cob particleboards. Findings indicated that maize cob particleboards were suitable for interior applications where low tensile and compression stresses are experienced. . Read more here
